First Time
A PROJECT ABOUT ATTENTION, PRESENCE, AND FIRST-TIME EXPERIENCES
What would it be like to move through the world with the feeling of discovering everything for the first time?
First Time aims to speak to younger generations growing up amidst the chaotic attention economy. The project seeks to turn our attention toward attention itself, with the goal of restoring a kind of "reset."
The project draws inspiration from, among other things, the story of Henry Molaison — the man who could not form new memories. Following an operation in which part of his brain was removed, Molaison became a historic patient and a subject of neuroscience research. Other sources of inspiration include the science of "awe" and the "beginner’s mind" practiced in various mindfulness traditions.

Ljos På
A PROJECT ABOUT TRAUMA, SHAME, AND CHANGING A NARRATIVE.
Ljos På is a story about a victim’s longing—and struggle—to break free from the victim narrative itself. The piece depicts the winding path from trauma toward relief and deals with reconstructing a shattered self-image.
The project began with an initial development phase in 2025 under the title *17,2 år* at Oslo Teatersenter, supported by Scenekunst+, and was part of the program for the 8th edition of I AM UNDONE at Gallery Pachinko in Oslo in June 2025. In 2026, the project received writing support from the Arts Council Norway (for the development phase), a pre-production residency at PreForm in Dale, and project funding from Fritt Ord.
Created and performed by: Oda Kirkebø Nyfløtt. Director: Vincent Vernerie. Lighting design: Yasin Gyltepe. Sound design: Sandra Kolstad. Set and costume design: Mari Lotherington. Choreographer: Samantha Lynch. Magic consultant: David Tholander.
The project will undergo further development in 2027, with the aim of a premiere in 2028.
Kokoro
A TYA PROJECT THAT EXPLORES EMOTIONS — ESPECIALLY THE ONES WE OFTEN FIND HARD TO NAME OR SHARE.
Through images, movement, and play, Kokoro gently addresses unpleasant emotions: the “inner monsters,” anger that bursts out, sadness that overwhelms us, and the experience of loss and mourning when something precious disappears.
But Kokoro is also a celebration: the joy of feeling, the joy of being alive, and the richness of our inner world.
On stage, two clowns meet: one Japanese, one German. Coming from different cultures, they experience and express emotions in contrasting ways. Their encounters — sometimes playful, sometimes clumsy — create a tender and humorous dialogue about how we feel, react, and connect.
Set to premiere in January 2027.
